Repair first, where it makes sense
Many problems aren't the lock at all. Doors drop and frames move, especially in older terraces. Realigning the strike plate or adjusting the door can bring a lock back to life. When the internal parts are worn or broken, we replace the cylinder or the whole lock.

Questions about lock repair & replacement
Why does my lock work only when I push the door?
Usually the door or frame has shifted, so the bolt is binding on the strike. Adjusting the strike plate often fixes it without replacing the lock.
Can you replace a lock the same day?
Usually, yes. We carry common lock types in the van and can fit them on the first visit.
