First, the police
If you've just discovered a break-in, call the police first. Call 000 if the offender may still be there, or the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 for non-urgent reports. Take photos for your insurer before anything is repaired.
What we do on the night
- Replace forced or broken locks
- Repair damaged strike plates and reinforce the frame where the bolt was forced
- Secure damaged doors so they can be locked overnight
- Fit additional deadlocks or window locks where entry was made
Making it harder next time
Once you're secure, we can walk the property with you and point out weak spots, such as old latches without deadlocks, windows with no locks, or side gates that can be climbed. You choose what to upgrade.
Paperwork for your insurer
We provide an itemised invoice describing the damage and the work done, which most insurers ask for.
